Uniform for the Primary School

The school uniform associates a pupil with her school community. Hence each pupil is expected to uphold the values for which the school stands and wear their uniform with pride. Parents, please assist us in ensuring that your daughter wears the correct uniform and that she is neat, and well-­ groomed at all times.

  • Ensure that all your daughter’s clothes are clearly marked with her name and surname.
  • Ensure that the uniform stockist supplies you with the ACS school badge and not the ACM badge.
  • If pupils do not wear the tracksuit to school on PE days, they must bring the PE uniform to school in a sport tog bag to change into.
  • Full uniform to be worn on all outings including Mass.

Important

Uniform Rules

Blazers are compulsory from grade 4 to 7 and should be clean and in good condition.

Nails must be clean and short. No nail polish or make-up allowed.

No rings or bracelets may be worn, unless there is a medical reason.

No tongue rings, nose rings or face piercing allowed.

Chewing gum in uniform is forbidden.

No hair extensions or coloured hair. All hair accessories must be simple and BLACK.

Only a plain wrist watch will be allowed. No dress watches or smart watches.

Full formal uniform is to be worn on outings and Mass days.

Plain, small silver or gold studs/sleepers may be worn. No multiple piercings.

No head scarves allowed .
