Purpose of the 100 Club
The Board of Governors have approved a Trust Fund in order to provide long term fiscal reserves and security for our school. The purpose of the 100 Club is to raise funds to grow this Trust Fund.
Mechanism
Members will contribute R100 per month to the 100 Club, collected via a debit order facility. A reference number will be allocated for every subscription. At the end of May and November all reference numbers will be entered into a lucky draw which will pay out 35% of the money collected in prize money, split as follows:
- 1st prize = 15% of the money collected over the preceding 6 months
- 2nd prize = 5% of the money collected over the preceding 6 months
- Consolation prizes – the remaining 10% of money collected over the preceding 6 months will be split equally between 10 lucky draw numbers.
Prize money will be debited to the winners bank accounts within 5 working days from the date of the draw.
Winner’s names will be published in our weekly news letter.
Rules
- Membership of the 100 Club is restricted to present and past parents and their families, past pupils, staff (current and past), members of Sacred Heart Parish and friends of Assumption Convent School.
- Members may have as many subscriptions in the 100 Club as they wish.
- Members will be required to subscribe to the Club each month.
- Subscriptions will be R100 per month (per subscription).
- Subscriptions must be paid by way of an approved monthly bank debit order.
- Each subscription will be allocated a unique reference number which will allow entry into the bi-annual draws.
- The bi-annual prize draws will be take place at the end of May and November. The draw will be conducted by a person who is not a member at the time. The draws will whenever possible take place at a school function, alternatively at Assembly.
- Results of the draw will be overseen by 2 members of the School Finance Committee.
