  3. Pupils who arrive very early at school in the morning may not use the play equipment (for their safety)
  4. The play equipment in the Pregrade area is for the exclusive use of the pupils in that section.
  5. If your child is absent, please send a note to school when she returns.
  6. Pupils are expected to stand and greet adults in the school grounds.
  7. Please mark all personal property; uniform and play clothes.
  8. Pupils are expected to do their homework as requested by the teacher.
  9. Letters sent to the parents by the school that require a reply, should be returned as soon as possible.
  10. Chewing/bubble gum is strictly forbidden at school or while the pupils are in school uniform.  This also applies to outings.

Cell Phones

  1. Cell phones must be handed in to the office on arrival at school and collected at the end of the day.  If this rule is not followed, the phone will be confiscated and kept in the safe for 10 school days.

Start of the Day

  1. Pupils are expected to be at school before the first bell rings for the start of school i.e. before 07:40.

End of Day

  1. Any pupil who is not part of the Aftercare programme, may not stay at the Aftercare facility in the afternoons.
  2. Pupils who are not collected straight after school (in the case of Grade 0,1 and 2 after waiting class) must wait in the designated area for their parents to collect them.  These areas are the library, the green benches or on the back field.  They may not wait near the gate after 14:30.
  3. All play equipment is out of bounds to pupils after school is over for the day.  An exception can be made for the pupils who attend Aftercare if there is an adult available to supervise them.
  4. Pupils are not permitted to go into the classrooms after being dismissed for the day unless the classroom is being used as part of Aftercare or the teacher is in her classroom and gives permission.
  5. Parents are requested to wait out of sight of their children during school.  Waiting outside the classroom is discouraged as it causes a disturbance to the pupils in the class.
  6. Parents and children walking on the corridors at the end of the day are reminded that some classes may still be in session.  Please be considerate and walk quietly.

  1. Pupils must wear correct and full uniform at all times.  In winter the Senior Primary pupils may wear tracksuits on the days when the weather report predicts a temperature of 18 degrees or less.
